Tin Roof is located in the same area as the Manhattan Beach mall. The restaurant was bright and well decorated with a nice outdoor seating area.
Spicy Tuna Spring Rolls
12.50
The spring rolls were a great start to our meal. The tuna combined with the fresh vegetables and ginger dipping sauce made each bite refreshingly delicious.
Thai Chicken Salad
11.50
The salad contained chunks of chicken, napa cabbage, peas, carrots, cashews all tossed in a thai vinaigrette. The flavors were well balanced.
Housemade Thin Noodle Lasagna w/Sausage
15
The best way to describe the lasagna is: comfort food. There was just enough of everything on the plate, from the pasta, to the eggplant to the marinara. Definitely opt in for the sausage.
Smoky Sweet Date and Bacon Pizza
13.50
It was hard to pass on this pizza especially with ingredients like bacon and date. The chunks of salty bacon mixed with the sweet date, and tangy balsamic syrup made this a tasty pizza. A little more sage wouldn't hurt.
Bittersweet Chocolate Mousse and Blueberry Ginger Pie
4 each
The desserts were the perfect size and packed a lot of flavor. The chocolate mousse was airy but flavorful and the pecan brittle added a great crunch. The ginger pie was surprisingly light and the vanilla ice cream added the touch of creaminess.
Overall, we had a very enjoyable meal at Tin Roof. The hits were the spring rolls, lasagna, date pizza and ginger pie. It's a restaurant we would add to our list of go to places in the area.
